Federal Judicial Nominations Conference: Notice Related to Applications for U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida

The Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Conference (JNC) is now formally accepting applications for the purpose of recommending a specified number of applicants for the following position:

Middle District of Florida: the JNC will select and submit three (3) finalists for U.S. District Judge.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS must be received by the regional JNC Chair VIA E-MAIL ONLY and preferably in PDF Format. The e-mail addresses and application deadline are as follows:

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: Friday, June 10, 2022

Applicants who are selected for personal interviews will be notified via E-Mail of the time and date of their interview by the Regional JNC Chair for the district in which they are applying.

Following an applicant’s submission of an application to a FL JNC District Conference, the applicant is prohibited from contacting members of any FL JNC District Conference regarding any aspect of the applicant’s candidacy except in response to inquiries received from a District Conference Chair.

The Rules of Procedure for the JNC, application forms with incorporated instructions, will be available at https://wassermanschultz.house.gov/jnc/.

The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association takes no position on judicial nominating commissions.
